Im a simple man. I see Priit new video, I click, I watch, I learn, I try in class and frustrate my rolling partners.

Absolute gold as always! I've been utilizing Priit's system for the last 12 months and have found all of his material to be very useful, as a 45 year old man these systems have helped me slow down the younger more athletic youngsters, allowing me to really open up my game, he hits the nail on the head in saying that the more effective your ability to escape, the more you feel willing to open up and go on the attack!🤙🏻 Thanks again Priit 👍🏻😁

I'm 54 and I agree with you 100%. I've been using his techniques for 1 1/2 years now and it has helped me a lot. When I roll against younger and stronger opponents and I get out of breath, I'll just go back and forth between turtle and running man until I'm ready and then I'll panda and play open guard.

Some dude watching BJJ “That wouldn’t work on me. I’d just stand up.” Priit “Yes, you should just stand up.”

So for under mounted position it looks like you are doing Hawking with reversed knees (top knee on the ground).
@israelteixeira71654 жыл бұрын
I learned something similar to this position on bottom, from Saulo's Jiu Jitsu University book. I does help a lot with the pressure, but I couldn't handle well armbar attacks.

Priit, I've been using this with much success. Thanks. Could you now address from a self-defense situation how this would change since your head is wide open for shots?
@DefensiveBJJ4 жыл бұрын
But the heas is wide open always also when everybody else shows it. Why do you ask me? :)
@DefensiveBJJ4 жыл бұрын
@ :) One answer is that it is coming. At the moment I teach this and will try to figure out the rest during time. I asked this before because it would be interesting to ask this from every person who ever showed mount escapes from bottom.

you bridge and stay in a bridged position like Henry akins when strikes are involved.

I'm interested to seeing the 1 armed clinch click from bottom mount that you spoke briefly about at the begging of the video. Will you be doing a video on your channel on this subject?

Not sure this would work with a tight mount, lock feet under butt.

he put on a gi to show it works, but that guy was about to take his back haha
@Janisurai2 жыл бұрын
He escaped mount and the guy wouldn’t have got his hooks in based on Priit’s other positions after that
