Bro went up on the same day as me, just a few hours after I started and got to enjoy and beautiful, somewhat clear and sunny hike while I got blasted with ice and wind almost the whole way up 😐. The summit was just whiteout while you got a beautiful sunset haha. Glad you enjoyed the hike though and saw the views you did! I don’t remember seeing you on the way down, so maybe I was already done by then.

Way to get after it! The weather was definitely all over the place. I tried to time it so I didn't get soaked on the way up or else that would have made for a miserable camp.

I never went up there during winter. I want to do this one day.
@guywhocamps8 ай бұрын
You absolutely should. It's mind-blowing that you can have a full winter hiking/climbing experience an hour from the beach.

@@guywhocamps I live close to Mt. Baldy. It's just up the hill. I need to get some cold weather gear for backpacking. All of mine are for spring/summer. I just did a winter Timber Mountain ascent.

Wow, amazing view, my friend. By the way, what camera did you use?
@guywhocamps9 ай бұрын
Thank you! GoPro Hero12. It's an incredible all-in-one camera that handled the elements great.

@@guywhocamps You're welcome! Thank you for answering my question. Happy hiking. If you have time try to visit here in the Philippines and climb our mountains.

You look like you camped before the summit, so under 10,000 feet.
