After years of thinking about it and watching videos I've finally decided to go all in and buy a van. I'm working on some sources of income other than my job, but right now I'm mostly trying to save up for about the next 18 months, but I'm looking at getting a van this month!

awesome video! also incase you didn't know the reason why your coffee machine isnt working like it use to when it was new, is because with those machines every so often you need to fill it up with white vinegar and run it as if you were making coffee, after a few times of flushing the white vinegar through the machine it will clear up the calcium deposits and your machine will start working properly again. the reason why its not coming out properly is due to the calcium build up in the machine from the water you use. but know when you heat up the white vinegar to clean your machine it doesnt smell very well. so youll wanna do it with your van door open haha. also make sure to refill with water after cleaning it and make some cups of hot water, before you go back to making coffee in it or, you will have vinegar after taste in your coffee!

Watching you make your pizza after having had food poisoning is a testament to your stomach of steel. Haha! Curious how often you have digestive issues on the road. Washing your veges and rinsing your meat should help get rid of bacteria, especially when eating the raw vegetables. Really enjoy you and Alan teaming up. The ground at the first camp was insane.

I agree about washing the veggies and fruits thoroughly before eating. Any fresh foods that you aren’t cooking with high heat ! Also frequent hand washing keeps you healthy

Get a diesel heater they are inexpensive and work great! I'm installing a second one in my van build to heat Solar cabinet and for backup. I'm in northern kentucky and building out my van in this weather, the one I have will run you out even in negative temps. I have a all in one LF Bros installed very easy

if you are gonna keep trecking around in these areas with snow and ice it might be a good idea to get a set of snow chains. You would be surprised how much they help.

⁠@@CallMehDirectwe use an electric blanket in our van just to heat up the bed before we get in to sleep. We don’t usually run it all night. They don’t draw that much power anyway.

Just got a solar generator 1600 watt will look into a 12 volt heat blanket too. That is if the generator holds up. I'm a pioneer. Got a off brand nebo 1600 watt.

10:04 Not to be that guy, but you totally have used those Pillsbury canned pizza doughs before. You used it to make those crab pizzas in Maryland about a year ago, so it makes sense you don't remember. I only know because I just watched that video the other day, lol. The canned dough is pretty okay, nothing to write home about.

5:06. that soil is an expansive clay. when the water is drained out, and it dries up, it normally forms cracks like what you see.

Looks like they could just be dog tracks. If it gets sunny there in the day and some of the snow could melt it makes the standard dog tracks look a lot bigger when the snow melts a little bit.

Hot water will freeze sooner than cold water. If you are afraid of your tank freezing; put some bypasses on it and drain it.

We frequent those hot tubs alot. We have a taco 4wd with KO2s and chains, always. You are at crab cooker and up is another hot tub, Shepard. The tracks probably are mountain lion for the area. Too low for bears. Have fun , but try the hot tubs up in Bridgeport , Travertine behind the forest Service by the dump If ypu go back to the main road and on the south side is wild willy's.
