Winter camping is fun. NO bugs, fewer people, and great hiking views. We just picked up our 109, but tucked it away until March to avoid the big storm (12" snow, ice, and high winds). Can't wait to get out with it.

Shragnanigans! There are wedding crashers, and then there are overland meeting crashers. We may have to invest in one of those Blackstone thingys. Love the hat!!!! THAT SITE IS AMAZING!!!!!! We love it! GO CHERIE!!!! That's some beautiful chili! You need some fingerless mittens. ❤ Pour over coffee saved my life during the tornadoes last year when we were out of power for a week! I made fun of my daughter for getting that pour over pot, but it made fantastic coffee. Made it to the top and hanging on for dear life! 😂❤ So proud of you for doing it! You had to do the hike, Chuck, since Cherie braved the tower! The frozen waterfall was so beautiful! That set up is too cool! We've never seen anything like that... Beef and barley soup is one of my favorites! This entire trip looked like SO much fun!!!!! This was such a great video! Love you guys! ❤❤❤❤

We stayed in the site next to yours back in October. It was raining black walnuts. Loudonville has their street fair beginning of October. You should check it out. They have livestock auctions, carnival rides, and fair food. Good times. Love that area.

People have told us we are crazy so we have to prove them right lol!! It really is a lot of fun to camp in the winter! You have the campgrounds to yourself!! Convenient to have that pop-up tent to supplement camping - you have a nice setup inside. Need to track down some of those foil liners for the dutch oven - nice hack to minimize washing. And so cool to see your winter time Ohio camping, as we have one eye open a bit wider for moving back to the Buckeye state a bit down the road.

The liner was great for easy cleanup. Also that pop up tent has been a staple in our camping trips. Hope you make it back we can plan a trip sometime 👍🏿

Looks like it was a great trip. Pretty nice roof top tent. We chose to just build out the inside of our hummer rather than going with a tent. I'm not too keen on tent camping. I don't care if it is off the ground lol. But however a person camps, it's great to just be in the outdoors!

We were so close to doing the same thing but knew it was going to take a lot of time and we wanted to get out there and camp so we passed but I think one day we will do a build!! It was a fun weekend for sure 😁 We still love the Sunray and looking forward to being able to fill it with water again now that it’s getting warmer. It makes the experience so much better with water! At some point we prob will upgrade to something with a bathroom but for now we are enjoying it so much and no regrets on our decision with it! Hope that helps 😁

The idea of messing with a black tank gives me the 🤢but I hate that trek to the shower house and I’m not always in an ideal place to pop a squat 🤷‍♀️ oh decisions! I’m thinking sunray and maybe a cassette toilet for now. Thanks for your input!

Definitely gotta get a sport brella. They changed the construction on the stake which is now a twist in the ground application but if you can find an older version with the metal stake it will be easier to set up. Hope you enjoy that 109, we do. Need any tips let us know 👍🏿

We tested it out for about a half hour when we got there and it was great but when by the fire it wasn’t needed. We will do a follow up review because we just didn’t get the full value out of it this trip. But, it seems to be a great addition ✌🏿

One question, from the video you did of the plant production of these great little trailers which I loved your take. Have you guys changed the white balance on your videos or uploading because it's seems washed out on the bright colors. This is not a knock on your channel just a fan. We used it last may to test it out and it was great but we use an electric ceramic heater we had from tent camping. Saves on propane. Thanks and enjoy that Florida weather ✌🏿
