This was great, Jack, thank you. I actually lived in a cave for a couple weeks on the south coast of the island of Crete when I spent all of 1984 backpacking through Europe. The cave served nicely as a wind and rain break. I set up my tent in it. It wasn't nearly as big as the one in your video. Maybe 20 feet deep, 10 feet wide and 8 feet high, which served my purposes nicely. It was a short walk to the village of Matala where I could buy food. For bathing I had the whole Mediterranean. Only down side to that is your sleeping bag gets salty. There were about 20 of us backpackers living in these natural cave formations. During the 1960s, hippies lived in them and 20 years before that German soldiers did when they occupied Greece. Probably the best year of my life. Glad to see your close call didn't ruin your trip! Blessings as always to you, Rylie, Olivia and Ellie.

Ellie is a smart girl, she didn’t care much for the cave, she turned towards the exit at one point! Spiders, mosquitoes, bats, crawling through small spaces! Not my idea of fun! I hope you always carry a gun with you on your trips, gotta protect the precious miss Ellie!! Glad you let her sleep with you! That girl deserves everything she desires!!! If I was you, in your place, these trips would mean nothing, without Ellie! My little girl has been gone now 22 weeks and2 days, and it’s hard to face each day without her! It’s wonderful that you have these precious memories of you’re adventures together!
