My wife grew up on a farm raising their own potatoes. Those are just fine, they can get covered with sprouts and still be perfect if you trim them off. I was a city boy and have learned a lot from that farm girl. Farm girls can do anything!

It really is a lot of work, haha but I love doing it! It's WAY easy to just bundle up and make a big fire but there is something really cool about being in a tent that is 70 degrees in the middle of winter.

Brother same! I started with just a big fire and a hot water bottle at the bottom of a big sleeping bag. Hot tenting is really fun but it's also quite expensive.

I purchased some metal stakes from Amazon. At first I thought that they were too big and I didn't use them. Then when I did start using them, I loved them! Now I keep them in their own bag and I take them with me no matter what tent I use!

Love that chainsaw. After my camp this weekend in Canada it looks very enticing. For my spark arrestor on my stove pipe I discovered that tying small carabiners to the guy lines made it easy to clip them on... I'm surprised you don't you use a small wood stove fan to circulat the heat. It was a game changer for me. Great vid man. Thank you!

Another great video. Sorry for your loss, losing a pet is as rough as anything. Couldn't help but notice that looked like poison ivy vines. I made a huge mistake one summer and chainsawed a huge lilac bush that had those same brown haired looking vines..had chainsaw chips all over me...found out a few days later what poison ivy looked like 😆

I'm watching the video and i'm about 1/2 way through but i've had this question on my mind for a bit. If you've already answered this on a previous video i apologize but i was wondering...How much extra time goes into recording your videos for the shots of you walking or hauling things back and fourth? I love the camera angles but having to walk back and fourth for camera management has to add a good chunk of time i would think? Love your content and great video so far!

Thanks and glad you like the videos! Honestly it doesn't add that much. And people forget every shot is like that. The cooking, the wood chopping, etc. it's all setting up a camera first, then doing the thing. It's all part of the fun, I really enjoy the shooting portion! It's the editing that's a real pain 🤣

Love hot tent camps me and my son went on one this past week it got down to 12 degrees wind chill was at 5 degrees we was hoping for some snow but just got really cold and had a blast. The walk out was miserable we walked in it was in the 40’s and when we left it was 18 degrees with 15mph winds.

Slowly been weening myself off of coffee and tea while camping. I still carry it if I crave it, but I've be substituting with packets of broth. Warms me up and kills the hunger between meals....and I'm not tossing and turning all night because of caffeine🤣Plus it comes in handy while cooking.

Only help it does for me is why not to drink. Everyone on tube has to drink alcohol on video. Not really family oriented videos when adults do that when children are usually watching videos.
