This is adorable! If you put the candles on a cookie sheet in a 250 degree oven they will melt in 20-30 minutes. Putting them in the freezer to cool can cause the wax to crack.❤

U can let the water boil first then put the candles in and with the wick u can hot glue it in so it stays

Probably a deeper pot would work faster. If the hot water came up to cover 2/3rds of the candle. You probably could make a big three wick one using a plate and a fat vase. Black candles would make it really look like a hat. With the plate you have plenty of room to decorate it. Some of the mini carolers, street lights small mirror ice skaters etc. All living on the snowmans hat brim. ❤

I've made several candles using this method. You can put more water in the pot and set it higher than low. Takes a lot less time. But it looks so cute. Great idea. As usual. I always look forward to you and Jody's videos.

You need more water in a taller pot to make the candles melt faster. If you get the round thin discs of wood that would fit the circumference of the candle, you can paint it black and put it on the candle when it's not lit, then it looks exactly like a hat.
