Arrived at the party late, but watched this with a smile on my face. Now when you said Noddy's ??? Well I reckon there was a pair in front of the camera as well LOL. Not sure which one was big ears !!, but would of loved to of seen what car you both turned up in ;-) Sometimes its about having fun, and a drop of alcohol responsibly of course.

I got a lot od stick for this one, at the time the word noddy to me was a word for course fishermen as i thought all my childhood when i would go fishing i would be noddy ---ing but up north and 40 years later its a piss take ....oops! as for the car well dave is 100% big ears and I am 100% the noddy yes and the car is red LOL

Hello George I know he got a good deal from a place called Noah's ArK it does have a website, he also traded some other quality reels in at the same time so i'm not exactly sure what he paid but i will get back to you.

Didn't your fire, radio and drone annoy the other anglers on the lake. If I'd have been fishing there that day I would have gone home!

Thats a good point, GREAT QUESTION, At night for the fire there was only us on the lake, as for the Drone Dave had a chat with the other two lads who were fishing the other side. The camera was next to the radio if you look in the tree you will see it, you could not here it at all at 20 paces. I would not have done anything to annoy other anglers, I do what i do NOT at the expense of others but its a good question Im glad you asked it so i can at least clear up any doubts. thanks for commenting and asking a good genuine question. Always harder to catch these carp in winter their metabolism slows right down and feed half as much. If you can get a carp out of the water in January your doing something right. I would never normally put a lot of bait in during these months but a good little spread in the area did the trick this time so always fish the water not what the book says.. Go for it bud! regards Maff
