I just have to say BEAUTIFUL to your pathway. Your hard work has paid off. I loved seeing the blanket of snow putting your garden to sleep for winter. I sometimes stand out in my snow covered garden and hear the whispers of memories of what was and the howls of the winds going through the branches, So peaceful.

I love the peace and quiet when it’s snowing. Not only is it beautiful, it’s very calm and serene. Since I’ve been gardening these past few years, I’ve come to appreciate the winter interest in the garden. Thank you for sharing your beautiful winter garden. I live in northern NJ with my property backing up against a state park so I feel very fortunate to be able to live in nature and always see something beautiful in my backyard. Your videos remind me to slow down and appreciate what I have in my own yard.

Your cobblestone pathway is a dream!! What is even more magical about your garden is that you and your husband share this joy together! It has been such a calming experience for me to watch as you both create! How on earth do you find a spouse so into everything you do? That’s the real dream for me! Isle of Wight? I'm in Southampton. I wish we had snow like anna does!! It's magical. I teach and the snow we had a few weeks ago was amazing. A few kids in my class had never seen it, we played out in it for ages ❤

Hello Anna, so beautiful your garden and house in the snow. We are living in the forrest in Holland. Our Rhododendrons are really deer resistant and look wonderfull with the forrest as a backdrop. Love seeing everything dusted in snow! The cobblestone path is gorgeous- so much back breaking work - great job! I actually like the door and hydrangea color palette for Winter. It would look pretty carried over in your window boxes too( cedar, pinks and reds)....

Hi Anna! I grew up in the mountains of West Virginia and live in Virginia now and I do agree on the peace that comes with the snow. That's one thing I would love about living in New England is the beautiful winters. In the south we get hardly any snow at all, just clouds and rain ick. I might feel different if i lived there of course! And Anna your cute cozy winter outfit looks so nice!

It seems to me that snow should have melted when you walked out. Thanks for being here Anna & Burt. Have you ever thought about using a C to name your dog, then the three of you would have been ABC ? So maybe Clemence, Conundrum, Cerberus, Caligula, Cuddlebuddy : ) This reminds me of a movie I saw a while ago, it was called : 'the lost footage of leah sullivan'. Is there a cellar or basement in there ?

I have heard that lavender is a deer-terrent. 🚫🦌 We planted two lavender around each of our 8 fruit trees this Fall. Will report back on results. 😉
