Tip..You can catch fish around the docks around the Marina..Great lake...When Jordan gets muddy, I would go to Sharon Harris...

You need to go find the armada this time of year and fish like they are fishing which is very deep, below 20 feet.

That’s a good suggestion. It was pretty sparse on the lake that day and at times we were the only one in sight. We’ve used that technique a few times in the warmer parts of the year.

That's funny --- in Oklahoma, we pronounce it "Croppie!" But we usually wait till we can wear t-shirts and ball caps to catch them. BRRRRR!

The late fall/early winter is the best time to catch them here in North Carolina. This was some of the coldest water I've fished in as long as I can remember.

Are there Alligators in the swampy areas around the lake? I know they sure are around Hilton Head Island, where I lived. We even had to dodge them while we were golfing!

Not this far inland. This lake is near Raleigh, NC and it gets very hilly around this part of the state.
