For those who do not know what Dream SMP is, it is a survival multiplayer server that features a ton of cool Minecraft youtubers who partake in roleplay! This animation is based off of various parts of the storyline.

0:50 I really wish people would animate this moment more cuz it was so cool on stream. Cuz Tommy was so excited as he flew up to height limit, but once he hit it everything just froze for a split second and the screen was filled with snow particles before he started plummeting back down. It felt like such a calming moment, a brief pause of time and a second of silence for Tommy before he got dragged back into reality.

Just wanted to say this because I just thought of it, but HC that when Techno used the totem (since I believe he was the first person to canonically use a totem) Techno may have awoken Foolish since he is basically a totem and Techno using it may have had an impact that may have caused Foolish to emerge into the Dream SMP So I like to think that canonically when Techno used the totem he may have caused an ancient god (Foolish) to awaken.

I came back to rewatch this because it’s one of my favorite animations ever, and I just noticed at 0:38 it shows Dream fighting with George and Sapnap and then the red and blue lines snapping- Dream loosing his connections, his friends. I love the string metaphor, of his power and control over the server. At the beginning he holds all the strings, the ventriloquist of this story. But everything keeps messing up for him until the strings wrap around his neck, choking him. It shows that actions have consequences and eventually all the things he did to people, all the evil actions he took, came back and bit him. I love this animation so freaking much it’s insane

I clapped in real life after watching this! It's a wonderful animation with lovely lighting, fantastic frame composition, and excellent expressions and character posing. You did an amazing job fitting in details/allusions such as Bad caring about Skeppy, Techno's wither skull vault, the train passing by, and Karl's swirl. I love the imagery where Dream goes from threatening Tubbo to being tied up in his own strings, representing how he helped create Pandora's vault only to end up inside it. Great job on the animation!

I LOVE Tommy reaching for the sky, that was such a amazing moment, but I also love the smaller details like for example where Dream has his mask on and is controlling his strings, but when the mask falls, his strings control him. The small details in this are so breath taking! Overall amazing and beautiful animation

I don't really know how to explain how I feel about this , it's so good. IT'S TOO GOOD. The choice of music was perfect too , it really captures how downright tragic the smp story is and how complicated and complex the events and characters are. Not to mention THE ANIMATION. The fact that a single person made all of this from their own ideas is just incredible; there is so much detetail and clean lines , everything is so fluid and it feels natural. Even with how fast everything moves it's still visable enough for people to see the guilt , fear , wonderment, anger and oh , so many other things. The scenery is also eye catching , too. Literally every little thing tries the rest together even if it's small like the fire at the beginning or Tubbo's silhouette being similar, too similar, to that of Jschlatt's. My favourite part overall (and I think a lot of people can agree) was when Tommy flew through the clouds. That bit , the oh so small , 3 second, beautiful animation is just enough to calm ourselves from all the chaos that is literally everything else. This is gold.
