I used to travel to my local game store and see this on the shelf as a young boy, and nobody ever bought. I wanted to buy it but of course I never had the cash. I remember the case being about the size of two cassette tapes

The PLUS/4 version was even better using the whole memory and one of the few PLUS/4 games

What was enhanced on the Plus/4? I had a Plus/4 and I had this game but I don't remember anything being plus/4 specific.

Graphics for downhill look kinda like Commodore, SFX are pure VCS.

Mich würden Demos interessieren, die die C-16 / plus 4 Hardware voll ausnutzen.

Staggeringly good for 8-bit, never mind one of the weakest 8-bit machines with tiny RAM and no hardware sprites (though slightly better palette than C64, and used to great effect). The 3d alpine events in particular are a miracle of coding from Udo Gertz, who seemed to have a thing for making underpowered machines punch far above their weight.
