The sound chip is literally worse than the one în the VIC-20.

Not quite! Although you had half the number of channels, at least both of your Plus/4 channels had independent volume control and could be in-tune. Also the output on the Plus/4 is substantially less distorted and less muffled than the VIC-20. That's not to say the Plus/4 soundchip isn't a potato though...

@@CommodoreKulor Nope, not true. $FF11 sets the volume for both. And it's just 8 volumes instead of the 16 in the VIC20.

Sehr beeindruckend! Very impressive, i bcome ('got', *smile, "denglish") was a a PLUS4 as a Gift in the early 90's :) but without Datrecorder and Floppydrive. Fall in Memorys *deep deep breath :)

bin gerade drauf gestoßen, ich hatte auch einen Plus4 zu Weihnachten bekommen aber mit Datasette, den Floppy musste ich mir ersparen :-) hätte nicht gedacht dass so eine Grafik/Animation mit dem Plus4 möglich ist

@@CalippoCola mein erster war ein C16. Was damals halt sehr deutlich aufgefallen war, ist der in Vergleich zum C64 schlechtere Sound und das nicht Vorhandensein von Hardware Sprites. Das in den ollen TED derart mehr an Grafikfähigkeiten stecken als im vic2 hatte ich damals nicht für möglich gehalten!
