I'm really proud of the way you are handling your grieving. I didn't do so well. You moved on and I simply stopped. My wife passed in 07. I'm now about to turn 70 in March but was never able to move past the past. If that makes any sense. We had a little farmstead up in New Hampshire and after she passed I just left the place because I couldn't physically do the work anymore and moved to a one bedroom apartment in Rhode Island thinking I'd be closer to family. That didn't work out so well but I'm a bit of a recluse in my little apartment. But anyway, I'm so happy for you. Sorry, didn't mean to be annoying. But I'm hooked on your videos and I'm glad you have a good man and a great life!

I totally understand where you are coming from, I also have a hard time dealing with the past and it's almost impossible to let go and move on, I went from a healthy in shape hard working 💪 person to someone who can barely walk and never leave my house due to decisions, bad decisions that I made in the past and also miss my significant other. Hang in there my friend things will get better..

I can imagine that it is extremely tough losing loved ones, Ive never had to experience it and don’t want to… I don’t think you’ll ever get over them, but moving forward is something they would want for you… doesn’t mean you have to forget them. 👍

We have lost a few family members over the years.. We lodt our home of 24.7 years in the mountains--- and my workshop where much of my passion was fueled. Our culture has declined and taken much of our passion for freedom. People get envious and contribute to the decline rather than assist people to recover. My wife has turned her photographic talents into a passion-feed. I go for hikes and write on the internet. Griefvis difficult--- though, saving myself in a loss of health has lead to an improvement and recovery. We still must live. Our loved ones would want that. And others need your smile!

The weather is the same here. It was pretty nice outside and then, boom, freezing temps. I would guess you do the same thing my wife does when the cold hits… and that’s her cold bare feet on my back when I go to bed! It has a way of waking me back up for a bit! 😊

Many people don’t even grasp the winterization part of a farm/ranch. To do it properly it takes has many tasks. But the benefits it pays off come spring.

As long as fertilizer stays dry, it won't hurt it to freeze. I lived in Oklahoma for 3 years and I do not miss those winters there. 🥶🥶🥶. By the way, I'm tired of grieving. Just want to get on with my life. I admire the way you've handled things.

I wouldn't change to elevated beds. Have to have really good soil and irrigation...needs more water due to being elevated. My garden is a little bigger than yours but is mostly clay, so I have to keep improving the soil with cover crops and it needs a ton of water here in NE NC Great channel...stay warm and Happy Thanksgiving 👍
