You have a nice dab there, if you run your hand from the tail and towards the head the skin will be rough all over the back plus the belly will also give it away as they have a transparent look, plaice are smooth all over plus nice vibrant orange spots, the flounder can be confused at times with plaice again run your finger down the spine it will be smooth like a plaice but run it the other way it will be rough… hope this helps 👍🏻

Dabs have a curve at the head on the Lateral line.
