Beautiful place to hike! Quick question. I have an Insta360 X4, and my computer seems to be a bit weak to work with the files. Do you edit with proxy files, or is your computer able to handle .INSV Files? Im a bit disappointed i cant use the Studio app but only the phone editor. I have the sphere also that mounts on my Air 2S. What do you think, am I out of luck?

Hi John. I convert the INSV files to .mov files using the Insta studio on my Macbook Pro. I then import that .mov file into Final Cut and edit it. It does take a lot of processing power, so I'm not sure if your own computer is specced enough or not :)

Thats some walk that. Think you need to invest in a quad bike 😂. You no done that plod before and whit did you drap on way up at beginning of your hike.

It’s “atrophy” with places where your muscles used to be… Same here. Important not to overstretch things too. “Little and often catches monkey”. BTW, Re your 3m selfie stick. To get the same end I got a decorator’s telescopic pole with a big fat coarse-threaded screw up top. Plus an adaptor to allow a camera std thread to engage with more or less anything cam-based. In my own case I use a cheap chinese gimbal (Zhiyun smooth-Q) to get a whole mix of shots via my Samsung mobphone. The whole thing not including the gimbal cost maybe £23-25? It goes to 2m so is shorter than yours but I believe bigger ones are sold. Didn’t like the way you sounded breathless in that walk Robert, you be careful, y’hear?😊
