Snowed today and a lot of it too! I’m glad I didn’t go back to back days because the road was white from the shaver lake webcams. It sure was a beautiful day and even better fishing, a bit cold but great day. I had the lake to myself till about 10am with that one boat, peaceful. Thanks!! You need to go, the trout especially the brown tasted great. Get it while they are active.

Thanks Man! Yeah I got lucky with some big fatties. Fighting them is like a log just weight. That second fish I thought it would just swim down and away towards the GoPro but nope! It went out and back in 🤦‍♂️. Had to remove the net. It’s winter so the fishing is starting to be great. Time for you to go get trout and Striper combo.

Thanks!! Yeah I got lucky! One is good enough and being a brown and to get two bonus big fat trout also. Winter brings the big trout from the bottom to the surface.

Dude those are some big trouts. Almost the size of the salmon. Think you might need a bigger net. lol😅

Yeah that what I thought too, salmon looking trout even have the salmon colored meat too. I’m going to try and find one like my salmon net but a bit smaller with the same kind of netting as it’s way easier to get the hooks out. Better dipping into the water also and if put it sideways on the kayak like I always do the fish stays in the water while still inside the net mesh. Time to go shopping around.
