I have always loved that lake. Great video thanks Tom.

Great video Tom, Vic lake fishing has always been tough for me. Spending days stripping wets for minimal results. It’s great to see it done right. Im encouraged to give it a go again. Thanks for your videos.

As a card carrying landlubber I always have a preference for the siter lake BM, prevailing SW winds in winter may also have something to do with it. Great vid as always.

Awesome fly fishing mate! Do you reckon you could do a vid on the Coral Fly tying or post a link? It seems like a fly that I want to have in my box for obvious reasons. Always looking forward to your videos mate. So inspirational to newbies and jaded old farts like myself.

Great video Tom thanks. What is the rod you are using? Can you tell us more about the leader 16ft in total. Is that straight flouro or something else. What about strength?

Nice work ans appreciate them being allowed to breath. Best I heard was hold your breath & when you need to breath, they need to go back in the water. They get emphysema after around 10 seconds out of water, their gills atrophy, 👌👍

Hi Tom. Thanks for a very informative video. Are the streamers you are fishing the same as the orange bead head damsels you have tied in a previous video? If not are you able to post the pattern?

Hi Tom, great vid! Fish on, then off... do you prescribe to solunar theory regarding the activity of these lake fish? With the amount of time spent on the water, I imagine you'd have gathered a bit of data of the years... Thoughts?

Hey, Tom. Great video. What weight of rod are you fishing here? Looks like 7 or 8wt. I live in Bright if you're ever on the Ovens and for some strange reason don't have a buddy to fish with. I'd be keen to compare notes on flies.

Hi Tom, I am loving your videos. Quick question, is that coral fly a coral colour blob?

Isn't that first fish a Chinook salmon? Looked like it had black mouth lining.

The first one is a tiger trout. You can tell by the white on the fins, they are like those of a char (the brook trout part of them)

What type of fly line are you using, been looking at setting a rod up for a lake
@tomjarmanfishing32082 жыл бұрын
One is an intermediate so about 1.5 inches per second sink rate. The other is a type 7 so 7 inches per seconds. Cheers, Tom
