I live in Michigan & I’ve learned this year not to rake the leaves. It makes the soil richer & the leaves in the flower beds act as mulch so that saves me money, that’s awesome!!! I love your channel especially in the summer😊

I'm in Iowa and we have the same weather, 10 more inches of snow then days of below zero! Yikes! Knocked the snow off several trees and bushes. Thanks for the tour. Inspires me to think of the winter interest in my gardens, too. Blessings!

You could add a corkscrew willow for great winter color. Stems turn a brownish/red color in the winter. Cut back to foot in the spring to keep shrub size. Such fun to see your garden in the winter.

Enjoyed this, Michelle. I love the four seasons too. Been dreaming and doing a few preorders. I need to add to my winter interest as well. Love your garden. Be safe during the upcoming Artic blast. Dreading that as we live on a small farm. Sure makes it tough caring for the animals. See you in the next one.

Yes, gardens do look beautiful in the Winter too! I really like the red berries on the bushes. They really pop in the white snow!! Are the two Korean Featherweed plants perennials? (Hope I got the name right). They looked so pretty even now! I am in Chicago, NWside and am hoping we don't get all of that snow! The cold is bad enough isn't it?? Thanks for showing us around. Your property is really stunning.

Korean Feather Reed Grass. It is a calamagrotis brachytricha. Yes it is perennial. Zone 4-9
