Good morning! My first video with you. To answer your question, I have Alaska peas in the ground. It is my 1st year with that variety but they came highly recommended because they handle our warm snaps in the winter. Also HUW gardener from England says they like to be sowed tightly. I followed his recommendation. Congrats on the chickens.

@@SimpleSanctuaryGarden It seems crazy that a pea named for Alaska could be warm tolerant. My friends 10 miles to the south said they went crazy good for them. We are in Brevard Co, about 10 miles inland.
