I wish my older sister would do this for her kids. Nah instead she recently bought those hellspawns their own tablet. The oldest is turning 3 next month. And the youngest has just turned one a month ago.

37 id balmy, enjoy the weather. Its a beautiful time if year with things happening outside most people dont care to see. Take a walk in the woods, and marvel at far you can see without the foliage blocking views.

I don’t see it as a problem. I see that as a benefit for both of you ❤

I was never told about the 1000 outside hours; however I was told that from birth until your child leaves home you only have about 1000 weekends and usually it's less, so make the most of it.

😂 Love that my husband likes the cold. Daughter does, too. They played outside in the snow four times in one day. Took videos from the window. they threw snowballs at me :)

What a goal! This is a great idea i love it and i kinda wanna try. On average it comes tp about 3 hrs a day
@janelleblount1282 күн бұрын
Just be outside and enjoy it! Don’t stress about how much time you are out there and making sure you force them to stay out for that time.
@janelleblount1282 күн бұрын
I get the idea but setting a high goal in motherhood just makes it more stressful

Cooking, cleaning, fixing things and doing errands. You can involve your kids in all activities at almost any age❤every moment is an opportunity to learn who are children are and have fun talking to them! Love the commitment to the outdoor time, precious memories ❤️

Great job mom!! Enjoy the outdoors with your child/children Teach and show him things, trees, brush, weeds… if any animals are out, point to them and tell him the sound they make!

I took ours to the Mall's children's spaces and the for profit rock climbing wall and bungeying business. For about $20-$40 for the business and snacks and drinks, she could run around the indoor play area with kids, and climb all over the activities, while I sort of walked around her general area. Parents were chatting, and the kids were interacting and exercising, without the cold.

I think the challenge is to be literally outside for that long over the course of a year 😊

I used to take my kids out in all kinds of weather. I had 3 one right after the other and we HAD to get out. It was fantastic for them and me!

In warmer weather, the ducks, geese, and other wildlife were a huge hit with our daughter. She and some boys were picking up a lot of the brown and furry catapillars and putting them in a chip bag....a more revolting sight I never saw, and I'm an RN of 30 years. They enjoyed the exploration and picking up the bugs, but I talked them into setting them free in various areas around the large park. I'm ball for the activities outside, but don't want to have natural habitats and species messed up. I don't know what a hundred missing catapillars would do to an area, but I didn't want us to be responsible for it 😂

My first chicken was a red roaster. He would sit in my lap and was nice to my family. He would chase all the neighbors out of our yard. When I was older and started my own flock, it was the barred Plymouth Rock that I chose. They were the sweetest lap chickens. Unfortunately I had to rehome my flock due to my husband having a kidney transplant. I miss them daily. Now if I had to rehome my cats. He would be finding a new home. 😂
