Thank you so much for the kind words! The wood is Cedar which is great with higher humidity. However the humidity remains low about 40-60% most of the time and lower with the wood stove burning. On days where we fill pond and spray things down it gets higher.

I get scales so bad when I bring my plants in, in the winter. Use neem oil. Had aphids in my pointsettias a few years ago and ...... I should spray down the plant I have now with scales, but I want it to be over 10C/50F. Love what yous guys/y'all/you people are doing up there. Tell those kids to enjoy the snow, I get the yearning for snow every December.

Love the four season greenhouse! Also interested to see how much it costs to run over the winter vs returns… Moved to Alberta from Vancouver Island last spring so this is our first albertan winter. Would love to build a greenhouse that can be used all year round but heating costs seem like they would be extreme. Keep up the good work!

Welcome to Alberta! So far heating cost has been low but we have had a mild winter other than a couple weeks so far. We have been burning a fair amount of wood keeping the fire going at night and on cloudy days. When the wood fire is burning the natural gas does not kick on. It is crazy how well it heats up on a sunny day. The pond is also a huge thermal mass and is heated and that helps as well.

Also from Alberta here! Just curious do you have any specific companies you like getting your seeds from? Just making my seed orders for the year now and would love some opinions especially on herbs and tomatoes seeds
