They are beautiful! Some of my soil tulips were weirdly short this year too. I will have to consider hydroponic tulips for this coming fall/winter.

Wow, they are beautiful. You should be so proud! Lucky customers 💐 As an aside, do you do any composting?
@SunshineFlora8 ай бұрын
Yep! The bulbs I cut off go right to the compost

Beautiful! Re: pricing, are you asking enough considering cost of bulbs and labor? Do not shortchange yourself.
@SunshineFlora8 ай бұрын
I am and also considering my rural area, stem length etc
@jennifersharp66248 ай бұрын
Gorgeous!!! Can you reuse the bulbs you discarded? If not, is it bc the leaves weren't left on long enough to take in enough light ?
@SunshineFlora8 ай бұрын
No. Tulips are treated as annuals. Because I cut everything off the bulb they won’t have the nutrients to generate growth for next year.

Which tulip bulbs did you buy for next year?
@SunshineFlora8 ай бұрын
I will probably do a video on it once my order is confirmed.

Wow! Congrats on selling out! I'm impressed that you have next years tulip quantities already planned out. If I may ask, where do you order your tulip bulbs from? Happy Easter to you and your family.
@SunshineFlora8 ай бұрын
Most this year were ordered from onings / ball colorlink. Leo Berbee has a great selection too. These are both wholesale companies

The bouquets are lovely. I am just wondering from an economic point, about how many years you think it would take to cover the cost of the course --after covering the cost of the tulip and money it costs to grow them. (My niece would like me to pay for the course for her but it is a lot of upfront expense)
@SunshineFlora8 ай бұрын
I would say it depends on the amount of tulips you grow. But I considered it a great investment because in my zone, without growing winter tulips I would never have had flowers to sell at Valentine’s Day or Easter. Now I have those sales

@@SunshineFlora Thank you -- that is a valid point and would help her with income in the "off" months
