Lovely footage of the Cumbrian fells in the snow . Know all about the snow then the storm ( living not far away ) very close to us there were floods again too ! The two cats are absolutely beautiful and I bet they were glad to be snuggled up by the fire with you two in that storm ! Look forward to seeing what you get up to in Scotland !

The snow really adds a new beautiful dynamic to the landscape doesn't it. Sorry to hear you had floods! Hope there wasn't too much damage? Yes they were very glad to be inside. I thought they might be a bit more excited to explore their first snow, but no, they decided the fire was more inviting 😅

Hello Again ☺. After I commented recently (re losing my beloved husband) you asked the names of my Kits, so it was lovely to be introduced to your fur babies, thank you. THEY are just so beautiful and they will come around to trusting you. We were once cycling in the snow in the 70s when one of our friends disappeared! When we went back to look for him, he had fallen asleep, we think form exhaustion, and we found him in a snow drift 🤣. Love and Light to you both and the Kits 🐱🐱🐾. Take care of each other xx
@joshandsarahride8 ай бұрын
Hello again 👋 yes they are slowly coming around, they've become so much more settled compared to when we first brought them in. That sounds like a scary situation with your friend! Luckily you found him! Sounds like you and your husband had a real life of adventure. This snow must seem so meagre in comparison to what you had in the 70s. All the best 🙂

The quality of your videos has improved so much since you started this channel. You are shooting some really beautiful stuff, and you’ve nailed the art of story telling, not just from the shots, but the narrative over the top. You also seem like beautiful people and a really loved up couple. You inspire my wife and I to continue our own adventures. ❤

@chrisballUKtoNZ curious to know if you think we have that balance right or if there should be more footage doing the talking? 🤔
@chrisballUKtoNZ8 ай бұрын
@joshandsarahride personally I like the footage to tell the story, feel that really brings out the true storyteller of the creator. Narration just sounds too scripted, words thought about too much to emphasize what I can already see. When you guys chat on camera it's not scripted (I presume) it's natural conversation, unscripted thoughts. Your storytelling has improved so much since the first few videos I watched on the channel. Now the quality has improved so much i think minimal narration is needed.

Lovely to watch your snowy adventures. Cute kitties! I also adopted a feral cat when I lived overseas many years ago. It was a long old process that involved many tins of tuna. So rewarding though when you finally crack it. Great that there are two of them so they have company; one would assume it would be less scary for them. Sending the warmest of wishes to you both ❤

Also I can’t lie I’m jealous of those two cats and with the persistence your showing they’ll eventually accept you like all cats it’s always on their terms. You’ve certainly had some wild weather there in the UK! We have had our share here in the States. Great visit to the Bothy but how unfortunate that there are those few people who feel they have to destroy everything. I wish we had a system of shelters like that here but I’m afraid they would always be in need of repair because of vandals. You two certainly made the best of the power cuts. I think those of us who camp a lot tend to get through those times better because we do have our camp equipment to fall back on and we can make an adventure out of it. Can’t wait to see what you do in Scotland!

Can’t say I’m terribly impressed with the winds loads of damage but the saddest thing is seeing some of the beautiful ancient trees come down😢 As I couldn’t get anything done this week I spent it introducing my two ex-stud cats to the indoor cats and they are now living a life of luxury with the others. All friends within a few days which is amazing. They could teach humans a few things about getting on. We used to have loads of snow up here so much it used to create good cornices you had to tunnel through on the mountain tops. Still snow but nothing like what it used to be . Used to love coming down off a route in the snow and sliding down on the axes🗻

Such cute cats! But you might consider trying to get them to live inside with you at all times or taking them to a shelter, because outdoor cats can wreak quite a bit of havoc on environments. They kill a lot of wildlife and can really mess up the balance of an ecosystem. They are domesticated animals and become invasive species when left outside.

Thought about sharing it with you, because I noticed you wear them on both of your thumbs 😊🙏
