For those asking, the halo at 7.30 is a brocken spectre. Quite often seen in the mountains when the sun is behind and above you, casting your shadow on to clouds below. Often seen as well from an aeroplane just above the clouds.

Thanks for bringing us along on your spectacular trek. How marvelous to experience the breathtaking views (and even the heebie-jeebies from the heights and steep drops) from the comfort of my chair. A vertical, midwinter hike like this is something I could never undertake, yet I got a taste of it through your generosity and skill. And the cameo by the girls was delightful. Its been a challenging week for me as well. Today, for instance, I had to hold my washine machine in place while it was spinning an uneven load! Whew, exhausting! That blue and rose coloured sky, the stark mountains and the crunch of feet on frozen snow.... lovely, but all in all, like the two doggos, now I'm older I'm glad I watched afterwards, from home. That wind sounded fierce. But it did look spectacular.

Quite a hike/climb you took there, Mr. Cotter. Some of views were quite scary at those heights; kept thinking "Andrew, please stay way back from those edges with those winds!" Great to see Olive and Mable apparently in fine form safe at home as well; perhaps the route was going to be too much for them.

Thank you for such a stunning video. I was on Binnein Mor and Na Gruaigeachan in the summer last year and loved it, though it was a right old trek back to the car in Kinlochleven. Binnein Beag looked tiny from the summit of its neighbour. This year the plan is to return and bag the other two, and the gap between the two looks pretty enormous. A glorious part of the country, though, and shown to wonderful effect. I love Olive and Mabel but I'd certainly love more Munro films. All the best Murdo
