Bless you Annoo, it’s not a nice feeling when you lose creativity I know it myself. I spent most of lockdown 1 and far beyond feeling like that. I literally stopped all my crochet and knitting, for the first time ever. I just felt so stressed and was extremely anxious which totally took over my mind and I just keep putting them down. Normally crochet and knitting is my calm place, but I just couldn’t pull myself out of it. So for the new year, I made a promise to myself to make something with yarn and I finally did! It was only a knit dish cloth, but I did it. Then other day I made a crop crochet cardigan for myself too, which I love. I feel so much better now I’ve done them and have my concentration back. So if you need time for yourself, do take it. Please don’t feel pressure about making things for your KZbin. Only do it if you’re up to it. Sending hugs. I will definitely be making these, they’re super cute. Take care of yourself and stay safe. Xoxo 😘

Hi Annoo! I know about the loss of energy, I've been feeling it too(among other little annoyances), but I thought it was an age thing(60yo in April). It wasn't. The doctor ordered a blood test, and, after never having a problem in my life, I now have hypothyroidism. It causes a lot of issues, and is the answer to my listlessness, hair loss and breakage, brittle nails, weight gain, depression, and the aforementioned loss of energy. Get yourself checked out. If you don't look after yourself, you can't look after those you love. Love the mittens!
