New year, same old Liz! Took the month of January off unintentionally but I'm back with a super sized update on all my current knitting projects. I finished my Traveler Hoodie and my Stripe Hype and started my most complicated cable knit sweater ever!

Liz I feel the workout rut in my soul. Due to my hubs having some issues I’ve gained as well and also am in crisis and being quite harsh with myself. Awe Liz..WORK! I was looking for Drama and Intrigue to explain your absence. EG you were on an undercover mission to discover why no one can find Murky linen. Next time you have a long absence, make up something juicy. Those of us with no life will never know:). Glad you were not circling a drain under a bridge (see that's dramatic). Just a thought...you could use your Aloft mohair yarn for a scarf, but just knit the ends w/it for contrast with another yarn. I have one I wear for the holidays.

Your sweaters are beautiful!! I keep thinking I will learn to crochet, but it hasn’t happened, yet.😂People have told me that crochet is easier than knitting. I have enough to keep me busy with cross stitch and quilting! Happy to see you whenever you are able to make a video, so just do them when you really feel like it. That is okay. I wanted to comment on the Italian or Tubular cast on. I’ve only done it once, very recently and a video stated it is easier to cast them on on a straight needle so the stitches don’t move around as much. The first two rows are knit back and forth anyway so workable on a straight needle. I did on circular but only 80 sts and that was bad enough. Now that I know the first two rows are knit back and forth, I will try again on a straight needle. Just thought it may be a tip you haven’t saw/heard that could help. Even for the tubular cast off, I’ve never done that either.

Love your Stripe Hype and the vibrant colors. Looks incredible on you. Also your Traveller Hoodie, wow, that turned out great and I love your vibrant pink pull cord. It looks amazing. The Alpine Bloom is stunning and you are too close to finishing. You are probably correct in long sleeves may be better to get more use of it. It’s stunning though. Love your advent Funfetti Sweater. It’s not loud colors with the beige color so it will look great with a solid color bottom. Can’t wait to see this as you get further. The ends are daunting but hopefully the pattern tips will work great. Your socks are also amazing. You always have the best projects on the go. Dosen’t matter if knitting, sewing, cross stitch, great taste. Good plan looking at the Dagmar as a long term project. Yours is looking incredible. Cables are stunning but slow. Your red & white vest with pink trim will be incredible. An awesome podcast. Hope you have a great week.

I stayed at the Residence Inn in downtown Seattle because it was just a couple of blocks from the convention center! There's a lot of good hotel options in downtown Seattle if you want to be able to walk!

Don't feel bad Liz because you can't post a video often I'm sure that we completely understand. Working full time is a very full basket for anyone.
