The worst part of the trip is packing up. A good part is getting home late afternoon and not having too go too work till the day after tomorrow. It helps the return too reality a great deal. preserves memories it does. Great trip Weka, Cheers mate.

Aussie Yabbies! Same thing different name. Set a nice yabby trap with fresh meat and they come running.. I have always found aussie ones to be a bit too mud filled but still yummy after their soaked in fresh water then cooked just like Koura

Hey Mike, do you know the catch limits for Koura in the Bay of Plenty? As far as I can see its 50 per person per day. Does it change depending of on the lake or river etc? Cheers
