Fish Oak Tree regularly and find double white maggot works best in winter and reds in summer. Anyone who fishes the snake be aware Barble go to 7-8 lb and dont stop, carp few and far between and ide vary from 1lb to 3lb on average.Also plenty of skimmers bream and even odd 3lb+ perch, and if you are lucky you might get to see the resident mink.

Iim gutted for ya m8 3rd overall good result but to break 3 topkits I sympathize with ya we've all done it one way or another my mate run over his holdall he broke every section of his pole and every topkit landing net pole all expensive gear. You'll get over it we do don't we keep your chin up Ben.

How the hell do you concentrate on your fishing with all that noise going on in the background. Wearing that Bib and Brace would drive me mad having to keep pulling the straps up. Stitch the straps together about a foot up or even better get one that has the single strap with 2 coming of at the level between your shoulder blades like the Preston or Matrix one to use them as examples. Shame about the result but 3rd is not bad especially considering the rest of the problems you had.

Not at all for this venue. Agreed on most or when its fully cold. but if you don't people will have your fish. people often use 10pints maggot this time a year on this venue
