can anyone explain the difference between the mud line and the margin if you were on the other bank wouldn't the margin be the mud line and so on so don't you fish them the same or am l putting to much into it

Pretty much yea... its just the far bank but where you can see the mudline where the fish feed .. normally its got grooves from activity

It's all bloody confusing generally everyone on here are telling you to bulk your shot in the margin now it's a super lite wafting about rig that everyone seems to say will foul hook everything for anyone new to this it must be confusing.

You’re dead right ,anchor your hook bait to prevent foul hookers,now he says fish light then your hook bait is wafting about increasing your chance of foul hookers and when it’s moving about your tiny float is dipping which one do you hit .I don’t want to be negative but I would go for anchoring my bait your bulk shot will probably sink in the silt anyway just leaving you laid on an inch or two ideal fo not getting foul hookers especially if you fish a heavy pellet that stays on bottom
