Winter Norway

Intended to capture the beauty of the Lofoten Islands I stayed at Svolvaer for 20 days. I was lucky to see often moderate Noordernlights the first two weeks and fantastic ones the last week!
Everything is captured between februari 19 and march 9. That period was dicided by pure gambling on clear nightskies and much aurora. The result is more aurora then I could ever dream.
I used a sony SLT a33 with sigma 10-20mm EX DC. I had other lenses with me but the Sigma was the only one surviving the cold together with me. Especialy the Zeiss distagon T is NO use below -4°C, it caused an error saying the lens did'nt fit well. Also the intervalometer died making me push the button 15000 times :-)
