Excellent looking bread, should taste great. With good use of minimal equipment you've had a fine camp out. Don't worry there will be other potatoes. Thanks Brian 79

I took lots of ideas in this video , like the bench and the tarp setup. Your tarp looks heavy, do you know the weight? Heavy canvas I guess ? Your potatoe looks more like a piece of charcoal now, Mr and Mrs Potatoe wouldnt be proud of you 😂. So glad I found your channel , its relaxing and educative at the same time Thanks
@NatureBound5 жыл бұрын
It is a heavy duty canvas tarp yes, i'd say it's around 35 or 40 pounds. Both the sleeping bag and tarp are older than i am and still going strong. You don't know how bad I wanted to eat that potato too, I was pretty disappointed lol. Thanks for the kind words and hope you have a wonderful day. Cheers Eric

Great video, got to get in touch with yourself, no better place to do it. Sorry about your tater, maybe a peice of foil is in your future. I have forgotten them in foil and they still get burnt.

I often put them in foil and bury them under the fire and they turn out real nice.

@NatureBound5 жыл бұрын
LMAO thats funny. You woulda won either way though, skin always looks like charcoal when you cook them like that. .
@kenbarrett25005 жыл бұрын
Using wrong type of potato for that .. you need a baker ,, thick skin potato .. or a sweet potato

does coal destroy the seasoning on the skillet?
@NatureBound5 жыл бұрын
Nope. once im done cleaning the pan with steel wool. (never use soap on cast iron). I wipe it down with a bit of veg oil, keeps it brand new. :)
@NatureBound5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about other types of skillets or pans though as I have only ever used Cast iron, steel and aluminum pots with no coating on them over an open flame. I hope i answered your question

Thanks im using the Canon 80d with 18-55 kit lens. would like to get a better lens in the future though.
@hermit62084 жыл бұрын
@@NatureBound yes sir. I am using the same kit lens on my SL2. I recently got the Nifty Fifty. Obviously it has its limitations, but I've been very impressed with photos on getting, especially with the bokeh. I've only done a couple of tests for video, but for $100 US, seems like a really good value. Late reply, I put your video in watch later and apparently never wandered back to it. Cheers
