That scene in the beginning with the bird on the tree crying and you looking at the river was awesome. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you. 明けましておめでとうございます!
Hey kakapon! Have you ever looked into getting polarized lenses for your cameras? The overhead video of you fishing for those carps looked really beautiful and maybe we could see more if there was a polarized lens making the water even clearer! Just a thought I had. Not a serious suggestion

You cooking carp for dinner??? Please show the cooking process and taste test
@johnvanegmond18124 жыл бұрын
Iowa, USA. Been eating carp 20+ years now. First learned to make it edible. Now I have multiple ways of delicious. I hope Kakapon shows his method. Most people here don't eat them. I've gone fishing and come home with a chest cooler full and never even got my line wet. Since I learned to cook them tasty, I almost feel guilty when I accept carp from the guys down the bank. One trick is to smell a handful of the water you're fishing in. That's what the fish is going to taste like. Cook 'em up, wreck a few, then you've got a pile of food available.

@@johnvanegmond1812 Ive heard smoking them is good
@johnvanegmond18124 жыл бұрын
@@shroomhealth8496 Yup. My favorite is baked for 2-3 hours over a wood fire. So that's sort of smoked. I use a metal garbage can as a cooker. Grate sits in it about 5 inches from the top. Pressure canning is great too. One perk is that all those pesky Y bones are edible after canning.

What a beautiful river. And didn't know carp was good eating. As a matter of fact I don't know anybody that eats them lol.
@johnvanegmond18124 жыл бұрын
I do. :) Smoked, baked, deep fried, pan fried, canned in jars, or in soup. I used to crave and loved to eat snow crab legs. Since I learned to bake carp over wood, I haven't paid for crab legs since. 20+ years.
@y-mefarm42494 жыл бұрын
@@johnvanegmond1812 No kidding.. you should do a video on how to prepare them. Since Asian carp are killing America's lakes and streams. If you can make them taste good, people will start eating them.
@johnvanegmond18124 жыл бұрын
@@y-mefarm4249 I'm hoping Kakapon shows how he prepares it. I'm always adding new ideas. Regarding videos. I'm handy with fish but not a camera. ;)
