Winter Snow UK February 2017 Teesdale County Durham

A beautiful little film, well shot and edited and a pleasant sound track. My mothers family had farms in Teesdale including Mickleton on your drive. Had many happy holidays when I was young, over 60 years ago now. Lived in the Essex and Suffolk boarder area now for most of my life but miss the moors.

Thanks Brad. The closest that I got to Mickleton today was, Eggleston and then I veered to Frosterley over Bolihope. I too spent many days in Teesdale, a great part of the world.

CAN REMEMBER GETTING SNOWED IN AT THE BROWN JUG kininvie. was such a struggle as the snow stopped after day 1 but the whisky and bottles of dog ran out by day 3 lol

I remember the Brown Jug, I was too young to frequent it though. The Cows Tail at Billy Row, was one place that I did visit before it closed down.

cant remember the cows tail but can remember taking 3 coach loads of us to billy row for a night out was like a invasion. arm wrestling farmers for pints lol.

I was born nd bred in Eggleston. I remember the Brown Jug at Kininvy crossroads very well. It was one of only 2 pubs in country that never had a bar. A little old woman used to serve ye nd ye sat on a couch. That was back in the early 1980s.
