Now all I got to do is flip the templates over for the right are and voila! No need for the gym for arm and shoulders day lol. You had me rolling at the whole Bob Ross thing lol. full body wraps or limbs like this arm seem complicated but the pieces were all pretty large and did not have a lot of complex cuts. much easier than I thought it would be. especially when compared to most helmets.

That turned out really nice! I’m glad you talked a little about sanding Kwik Seal. I saw Odin say he sanded some in an old video but he didn’t go in-depth. I had assumed since it was flexible there was no sanding you could do

I learned the hard way to just let it dry 24 hours and it can really make parts smooth with some really high grit sand paper. Especially over seams. Some will say you can’t but I do it off and on project and it can work.

No. It didn’t start from an STL file. Those are way too high poly for Pepakura. It was always a low poly model. I unfortunately don’t have a tutorial for what you’re asking. Sorry, Christina.

I made a foam soldier arm a few years back for a big event me and my friends did. Wasnt nearly as good as yours. I wish I had this back then. Wish I could post a pic here to show. Might do this one down the line... 🤔 So I was wondering if u have a video of the studio and tools you use? That paint gun you use i sell at my work and would be great to use but I don't have an air compressor to use it. But do you have something that kinda shows off all the tools you use in little detail

Lol, loved the Bob Ross bit! Ty for another great tutorial. I wanted to ask, when you curve a piece of foam, how do you get the angle just right every time? Do you ever have to reheat and re-bend it? It looks like you use the same size ball for each one and nail it every time, and I’d love to get there myself! Any tips would be welcome!

Hey! Just a question. Would I be able to trace the stencil without taping it and then use contact cement and glide the seams on the foam?

You don’t need to do the technique I did with taping the seams at all. It’s just to reduce seams that you would need to sand and fill later. You can still trace the template as it is and glue the foam seams later. It’s just more filling and sanding work. That’s all😎

It’s acrylic-latex based. Not silicone.

Hi. I am wanting to try this build but I do not have access to pepakura. I was hoping to purchase the file and have the templates printed at a local print shop. They are not familiar with pepakura or pdo. Files. Can these be converted to pdf files or something standard so I could have them printed?

No sorry. A pdf will be just the template outlined and no instructions. You need the software to see what piece connects to what.

On their site it does say that it is also able to be a pdf. file. I’m happy to download this and purchase your template but I can’t print anything myself so I will need to go to an outside printer. That Red Ranger helmet is an original stunt resin casting from the show. I will be making a power ranger helmet soon though. Just not sure which one. I’m thinking Green or White because I could follow up with their shield.

I really enjoyed this one, enough ads though 8 of them lol. Do you burn your fingers using the heat gun wearing latex gloves?. Where did you get the painting stands for your parts. Is this simply a dollar store find or something more specific? I think you should do the mask by the way, it completes the set. Great video as always, thanks for this Stefano 👍

I appreciate that man. KZbin has been really burying my videos as of late and don’t get shared much to recommended to allow it to go past the few subs that watch them when they’re published. Another factor is that people don’t really watch the building part and skip to the end. This 29min videos has a 6min watch duration average. So that hurts its reach as well.

You needed to pay attention to the intro if you were new. You watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIPVl5aie6mciZI and then apply what you learn to any foam Pepakura file. It’s always the same approach. No need to explain bevels if you watch that and learn how to locate angles and choose the right angled cut.
