I’ve already built the costume. So I don’t have time to do that again. You’re supposed to follow the beginner tutorial I mentioned and apply the techniques learned to these templates.

Awesome work.❤ I would like to buy the suit templates but im afraid because i've no foam experience. I only used 3d printing before. Could you make a full video Tutorial for the whole suit?

No. That would take over a year to do that. I don’t think you realize how much work goes into making videos. This project is clearly way too advanced if you’re new. You need to start with the beginner tutorial sample helmet project. You need to learn the techniques first.

@@Heroesworkshop I can imagine that this is too much work for a video yes, but i thought asking for it does not hurt. :) I already did full cosplay costumes like the heavy mando armor from Paz Vizsla and a Storm Trooper suit, but with my 3d printers. It was a hell of work even without making videos about it. Now im sick of the extreme long printing times and 3d printed body armor parts are to stiff to wear in some cases, thats why im very interested in foam now. Thanks anyway for the reply. Maybe i buy the templates and see how things will work out for me...learning by doing. Maybe mixing foam with 3d printed parts. It looks so easy when you do it, but i know its not ;) Keep up the awesome work.

I wanted to make this cosplay, and I'm following along with your guide video, but when I was looking at the model I noticed that the neck opening of the helmet is *very* small compared to the width of the helmet in general. When I measured my head width, it was the same as yours, so I was wondering what scale you had the helmet at? Did you have the width of the opening be 6.5 inches or did you make it smaller because EVA foam is a bit flexible? Or is the Pepakura file sized to you so I should use the default?

Question - I'm tryna make this armour, but instead of bug splatter I wanna have scorch marks from Automaton lasers. Any idea how I could get that effect? (Also, how do I size the helmet? I made it by sizing the bottom opening to the width of my head, and when I made it out of paper it came down to my shoulders 😅)

Follow the beginner tutorial on sizing. For it to be that big, you're unfortunately doing something wrong. Also, be prepared to rescale parts. It's how it goes with building anything. Always expect to build it twice at times.

Why are you turning it into a PDF if the PDO file is designed for pepakura designer? This doesn't make sense. There's nothing to help you with. You clearly don't want to follow the basic instructions.

It was called "dune" from what I remembered. It's easy to mix with white and a little bit of brown.

The majority of it was sprayed with rustoleum brand rattle cans. All the details were hand painted with acrylic paint from Walmart. While at a con i was asked several times if it was 3d printed. I took that as a compliment.

When I right click I don't get an option to measure between two points. I can see an option in the main toolbar called "Pick edges between two points" but it's greyed out :/

Remember to right click on the right side where the pieces are on pages. That's the 2D window. You might be clicking on the side of the 3D model itself. There is definitely a drop down menu when you click on the right side.
