I found Clifton Hicks through his banjo music. I respect him even more learning he was art of the Iraq Winter Soldier hearing.

Hicks and Casey weren't in the same platoon. I was in Casey's platoon. Hicks was a tanker. I was friends with Hicks until he started twisting what really happened to get views. They both lie like rugs in this video.

They wanted me to be a part of this too but I wouldn't lie to the reporters calling me.

He never saw a day of combat the whole time he was in Iraq. I was the soldier tasked with escorting him everywhere because he posted sensitive information online about unit activities. His nickname was "Dr. Treason"

Don't get me wrong...he was a nice guy and we kind of developed a friendship after Iraq in Germany. When I refused to participate in the lies we lost touch. He and Casey had a reporter call me and I wouldn't lie and they got upset. I am still in contact with 20+ soldiers from that unit that could back this up

Thankyou for coming forward and telling us what happened, it makes a big difference. We have been afraid and confused for so long. I believe that the people only interested in money and power(controlling the world) are eventually going to do the same to their own peoples. They obviously don't have a kind thought for anyone. Evolution has served them well.

The fact that civilian deaths are inevitable is the exact reason why the peace movement is growing and has been influential in the past. That is the exact reason why there should be no war. ALL wars are just the elites of various countries fighting each other at the expense of their populations lives and well being; aka the civilians. In fact the US has had very few civilian deaths compared to if a country like Russia or China invaded, but that doesn't mean anything.

@spelt Im a far right conservative, so far that Im almost libertarian, I HATE these wars, My cousin has been deployed 2 times and every time he comes home he tells stories just like these, He hates it. I love our soldiers like you cant believe but these wars are totally useless. Very few conservatives want to bailout ANY company or Large corp.

Mr. Hicks is nothing but truthful when it comes to his service in the military. He is now a prolific traditional folk musician and teacher and is very open about his time in the military. Quit with your baseless bullshit and pull your head out of your ass. Just because you don't believe that our "perfect" and "infallible" military didn't do fucked up shit in Iraq (which they certainly did) has nothing to do with with these guys' service. You disgust me.
