Potentially! A lot of times our casts are far apart since it’s a large system so likely they don’t act on each other but sometimes I’m sure it happens

The greatest fisherman that I know and fished with in the Pacific northwest has an old pole with a missing guide (4 out of 5 aint bad...) and drifted bait exclusively, though he did acknowledge the effectiveness of the bead/bobber fishermen. He used sand shrimp (also known as ghost shrimp), ever tried crawdad tails? Cheers, and happy New Year!

I'm going to be the first one to say this. Maybe that first fish shouldn't have went back in the water. Whatever that was could have been transmitted to other fish. Seriously I wouldn't have ate it but I definitely would have got it out of the water. Great video as always y'all.

Never thought about that but valid! So I’m assuming it was an old lamprey mark that probably got infected not actually a disease of some sort. Definitely something to look into tho!

Can i ask you guys a question, when your float fishing how long do you leave your leader line? And when and why would you change the leader length?

2-3ft in general. Might go shorter in small rivers if it’s super shallow. All about getting and keeping your stuff down in the strike zone 👍

It’s usually different everyday/week. In general tho beads fish very well in spring/fall when fish are dropping eggs
