Winter Storm Day 2

We had our rain, then snow, added in some more wind and more snow. Winter is now officially here! Time for some hot chocolate and a nap. Only have 6 chickens at this time. Neighbors killed two roosters because they just could not behave and offered us one. I'm down with a bad cold, so I told them thanks, but knew my husband wasn't up to handling a whole chicken and I'm not steady on my feet yet, so they past it down to another neighbor. I never thought I would say this, but I'm glad of our lack of livestock at this time, 'cause I'm just not going out for awhile! God bless you and keep you safe and warm!!!

Having livestock during the winter is definitely harder than it is during the rest of the year. But spring will be here before we know it. God bless my friend ❤️

You got a good deal of snow and ice, my daughter lives in London and they didn’t get half of what you all got there. But I think they got quite a bit of ice. But Williamsburg got hit pretty hard according to the news.

17 degrees at night and not above freezing in the day here in Arkansas day 5 snow is suppose to hit today 🥶

🥶 it was 10 degrees this morning while doing chores. I was frozen by this time I got inside 🥶
