That looks like a really nice campground - we have not been in that area and have added it to the list (the list is getting long....). Huge tree trunks around there! Unfortunately as you know rain/snow can happen most any month up there. Still looks like you guys had a great time - dinner looked great - love fish done that way. The drone shots were excellent - that shot near the front was epic - and the creek was great too - love that style. Too bad you had to leave early - but you did the right thing - would not have been fun at all. Hope you have good holidays!

Happy holidays! There are some amazing spots up near Shaver Lake and we also discovered there are Salmon runs for fishing. Another magical aspect of the Sierras :)
