Right! u just had an extended folding step before adding the fox landing eh? Before i got my NL, i was looking into a new AF, n omg it would have been 2000$ more to add the fox landing! Amazing u found a used one! And yeah much better entering camper u can stomp your feet off now before going in 👍. You're a brave soul venturing off the beaten path. My fear is getting stuck. Us dually's are heavy back ends! Love the fly overs! U can feed the starlink cable through the rubber on the open slide in a corner, but remove it before slide comes in, something to try. Whats the power bank name? 🍻

Thanks for watching! The fox landing is big improvement. Not $2000 worth, but I only paid $450 for it used. Heck of a lucky deal on my part. I do now want to add the folding step between the door and the fox landing, but trying to get one (affordably) in Canada is tough! I know the fear of getting stuck very well. I often scout locations in my Jeep before I commit to camping there, particularly in winter/spring. Access can be tough this time of year. And I usually have no cell service in the mountains. Thanks for the idea on the slide trick for the cable. I've read that the SL cables are fragile. I figured the window would be easiest and allow me to move the disk around my truck as needed to get reception, but maybe when it's warmed and the cable is less stiff from cold, I'll give it a try. The power bank is the Allpowers S2000. It takes a little time to recharge, so I may invest in some solar panels for this unit directly. Even though my camper has solar, I'd like to keep the two systems separate - especially in winter when the days are short and grey with limited recharging and I need battery for heat at night! Happy camping!

Interesting using the pass through window. I’ve seen others passing the starlink wire through the rubber gasket on the slide. If you compare the two different methods let us know. On the power usage, can you recharge your battery while traveling and or extend solar panels to recharge the battery box during the day? Theoretically you should be able to extend indefinitely with minimal solar.

Thanks for watching - I'll try the slide passthrough once the weather warms up to compare. I've read that the starlink cables can be fragile, and I've cautious in the cold. I can recharge when driving (or from the camper batteries if I'm mindful about how much sunlight I get and how much juice I'll need to run the heater in the dark). I'm contemplating a set of solar panels for the rechargeable battery so I can keep the system going for longer. I just hate starting up my loud onboard genset in the places I camp and am trying avoid it.

Thanks for watching. I'll have to work on my volume - I guess being out in the mountains keeps me quiet!
