That's fantastic news -- that you're getting a diesel heater! Looking forward to hearing all about it! We have a small camper (trailer/caravan) and the condensation in cold weather really is a challenge. You've shared great tips for avoiding mold!

Thanks so much valerie you can imagine we’re so excited! Happy to know you liked the tips in this thank you for watching along 🤗 and yes the condensation is the biggest issue, dint think the heater will prevent it but will atleast mean we can crack the vent or a window more often to alleviate more condensation 💕

So so happy you liked the scenery in this, theyre from Switzerland and we absolutely adore it there 🥹oooo yes we really considered a little stove but wed have had to re configure the whole van which was a massive task so the heater made the most sense. Lovely to know you have one on your porch must be so wonderfully cozy 💕 sending lots of love to you 🤗

Dear ones, please wear thick woolly hats pulled down over your ears, wrist warmers (those you can put your thumb through), big jummies, and, what I do is wear ski salopettes! They're just like cosy dungarees and they're so brilliant at keeping everything warm and toasty. You're all awesome, thanks for your fantastic channel. I love living vicariously through your adventures (being an older lady now and had lots of them myself :) Xxx

Yay, my favourite creators who warm my heart. Happy you are able to get a heater, until then it's important to get some healthy fats for keeping your body going and able to keep you warm; your pecans are a good add, but I also get a big bag of Omega 3 6 9 seeds (usually a mix of flax, hemp, chia, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds) and I sprinkle them on my porridge in winter and smoothie bowls in summer. Also a nice glug of EVOO in your wraps will give you some healthy fats your body needs. Omega 3 6 9 is also good for moods which can dip in winter. The Scandinavians like to air out their duvets and the sun is a good tool for not just drying but the UV rays can kill bacteria. I don't know if there is a way for you guys on sunny days to put your mattresses on the roof of the van to let them air out? Just an idea. You did forget what should have been your number one way to keep warm, get yourself a living hot water bottle like Luffe. Love you guys, stay safe, warm, and wild.
@onthewildside
@onthewildside 9 сағат бұрын
Awwww thank you dear one for watching this! Totally agree about the seeds, we try to have all of them but obviously hard to remember sometimes to put them on 🙈 and yess we douse everything in EVOO hehe 😋 Makes total sense with letting the sun kill the bacteria although the van roof isnt very clean so probs wouldnt work for us. And you know we never have used hot water bottles for some reason other than for my period but should definitely be using it to warm us up ahaaa! Might not need to from now on with the heater but so appreciate your tips and your constant encouragement 🥹💕

Thank you lovely one!! We think we chose the best option for our van but ofc there are other options like wood stoves which would have been so cute! And yess it was a little copper fondue pot that we picked up from a swiss thrift store! Theyre full of all the old time pots and pans 🤗 although most of them contain lead which isnt bueno… 😬

Hello guys, trank you for the great video again❤❤ how about a small woodstove? That will also draw out the moisture better.. and you can also cook a Little Bit! take a Look here, i also built one of those in my bus: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jprUg2N7pq-tr6ssi=lXamc-gkq6lhMPw_ Do you have a link for your 12v heating blanket? What do you do with your plants in very cold and very hot temperatures so that they donˋt die? Or are they All artificial plants?
@onthewildside
@onthewildside 9 сағат бұрын
Heyy lovely oh yes its such a great idea! We were very tempted but wed have had to reconfigure the whole van to fit one as it couldnt sit on the countertop cause the flue needed to have a certain amount of clearance annoyingly? Cant remember where the blanket was from but am sure you can find them in home stores or online 💕 As for the plants, they can be quite temperamental. Weve found over the years that ivys, succulents and ofc cacti work best in a van but we sometimes like to buy little daffodil bulbs in winter and adore ferns in summer. All the plants are real apart from the ivy around our rope lights 🤗🌸🌿

So many KZbints of your generation are vegan. If you relented a little and ate small amounts of red meat and fish/sea food, you would be very healthy. Venanism is so unhealthy. Your teeth and brain health, as well as your gut health cannot thrive in the long-term without animal based nutrition. The Dalai Lama started out as vegan once he was an adult, but he quickly went back to eating anamal based foods three times a week and regained his health. If you do feel your health declining, don't feel bad about eating some fish or meat. It is the proper human diet that humans evolved to eat. ❤❤

Heyy heather, really grateful for your insight with this, were both thankfully very healthy and if we needed to adjust our diet because we were out of balance/lacking protein etc, we would find the least impactful way to make these changes. We’re both predominantly vegan due to ethical and environmental reasons, it just doesnt sit right with us but of course we dont have any problems with other people eating animals, it’s everyone’s personal choice, this is just our choice 🧡
