Thanks for showing us the beauty of this exquisite garden in the snow! But to be honest, it still looks like a bit of bizarre to me after seeing so many devastating images from the Northern part of the Ishikawa prefecture even though I know that Kanazawa was not effected much. And very nice to see you guys enjoying this beautiful winter day, safe and sound.

yes, everything is now open as usual in Kanazawa - I agree it does feel a bit bizarre for everything to feel so normal when only a couple hours away is the site of so much destruction and devastation. The Noto area is still not accepting individual donations/volunteers since the roads in that area can't handle a lot of traffic, so the only thing we can do for now is donate to the earthquake relief fund. However, the rest of Ishikawa (Kanazawa and Kaga areas) could benefit from tourism in my opinion at this time, since more tourism dollars can help the prefecture as a whole. So I'm hoping to keep promoting this region and showing how beautiful it is - I hope many people can come appreciate it for themselves too 🥰

Wow, no other way to describe it than a winter wonderland! I've never seen snowfall in person before, so it looks sort of magical to me. Thanks for sharing!

it is beautiful! hopefully that means you can bike year-round though! Although I can't complain - the temperatures here don't get too cold so even when it snows a lot, it melts very quickly too 😄
