Winter

I enjoy winter. It is, one might say, cool. This is a set of pictures I took after a rather peculiar freeze that had the effect of creating a thick layer of smooth ice around everything. I had never seen anything quite like it before, but it was absolutely breathtaking. All the trees and grass had turned silver, like they were made of glass. They caught the sunlight and made it look like everything was softly glowing. So I did what any reasonable modern person would do when faced with this winter wonderland, and spent all day with my phone out taking pictures.
The music is my own piece, made for reddit user GoldenDiamond17 around a year ago. Because I made it for a specific person to use, this is a rare case where I’d rather people not use it.

I cannot believe it has been a year since this video was released by you . I am still mesmerized that you worked it out with nature (lol)at the right time and the right place to have a thaw and then refreeze to give u this effect. Way cool (sorry for the pun)to revisit this video!!!

And that would make two years since I took those pictures in the first place! I didn't think to put them online originally, but there was a snow the next winter that got me in the mood, so quickly gathered together these photos and put them to music and flung it up onto my KZbin page. This remains one of my personal favorite videos I've made, even if it's not the most high-effort. I've never seen this re-freeze business happen in person before or since. It's really great to know that there's some active interest in the music I make, I always got the impression that my subscribers just sort of tolerate it while they wait for me to get around to posting something better. The next piece of music I post will probably overtake this video as the new cover of my channel. It's a tune I've had in my head longer than I've had this account, the idea is for it to become a kind of 'theme song' for people to associate with my vids. :D

It does indeed look cool i think its just extreme cold temperatures that's freezing moisture around the branches and grass, also so of the shots look a bit eerie like the semi dark ones but still great looking overall
