Teacher here, he definitely needed to just be talked to about boundaries. He should not have gotten fired. He built a relationship with his students and most teachers don’t even do that because students just care about vaping, the internet and fighting. There’s not many who are going into the field of teaching and people want to nitpick on us the most, very sad. Winter.. You are talking about the no child left behind act. We no longer fail students because they did a psychology examination about how it affects students mentally. It’s horrible but most students are at 3rd grade level and teachers can’t do anything about it. ALSO parents aren’t parenting they pretend their kids are angels even when teachers are asking them to help their child.

As a middle school teacher it’s so hard nowadays. I’m leaving the profession because the support and appreciation just doesn’t match the work I put in. I honestly feel bad for him. Some teachers in my district do cross the line and get too comfortable with the kids but honestly those are the teachers that also provide support for them. It’s such a slippery slope. I feel bad for the youth of America. So many good teachers are leaving and lord do they need guidance.
