Winterfest Wonders of Light - Pigeon Forge, TN

This is a short, approximately 1 mile walking trail, that features numerous festive light displays.
You can begin at The Island parking lot, or the Old Mill/Patriot Park parking lot. We recommend starting from The Island, to avoid having to walk through a neighborhood

This is such a beautiful walk through. The night we went it was not as cold as your night. I can understand why Shawnasi was so bundled up, I would have been too (Cindy). It is amazing that the ducks are still in the water. The light plant that you called an aloe vera plant reminded me of seaweed but I was thinking of maybe an agave plant. This is such a beautiful and festive trail. So glad that they added this to the lights in PIgeon Forge. The cooler days of Florida will feel warm considering the brutal temperatures you were in that night. Great job!

It is in the mid 50s here in Florida now, and it's actually very comfortable, when the wind isn't blowing. It's a little cool when there is a breeze. It's supposed to gradually warm up every day this week. Looking forward to it. Yes, this is a beautiful walk to see the lights in Pigeon Forge. I'm very glad it is there now.

You are very welcome. The cold did make it feel a lot like Christmas, but I could have stood if it was maybe 10ﾟ warmer or so. It was brutal.

From what I understand they’re adding music to this next year. That’ll be awesome! Those white geese are vicious! We stayed right there at River Place Condos in October and fed them from our balcony and they started fighting and we seriously thought they were going to kill each other! All the balcony lights started to come on so I’m sure the neighbors weren’t happy with us! Couldn’t believe how loud they were! We didn’t feed them from that point forward!😂

There was one near the river in Gatlinburg, that would hiss at me when I walked by. We were walking by on the sidewalk on the back street, and he was in the grass. I stopped to record him, and he just hissed at me. They are pretty ill tempered.
