This is so good, i've never listened to winterfylleth but i'm seeing them on friday at Desertfest so I was checking them out and was obviously not expecting this at all! You could say that a lot of music bears facets that are quintessentially English. Vaughan Williams' 'The Lark Ascending', the Folk Rock of the 60's, the mad prog rock of the 60's and even London's punk and NWOBHM scenes. However I don't think I've heard ever heard anything that has articulated the feeling of growing up in the shadow of the English countryside as well as this.
