Yep, been busy here in Eastern Oregon getting ready for winter. Spent all day on the tractor and bulldozer cleaning out round pens. Then I pulled out the stock tank heaters getting them ready. We are going to be into the low twenties in a couple of days, at night anyway. But you're right, it's coming.......

Since the hydrant is just outside the building. How about digging inside the building finding the bottom of the hydrant make a connection and bring up a line for a automatic water system. They make energy free and won't freeze never have to turn a hydrant again. We use automatic waters all over the farm.

Hi! I don't mean to advertise or anything but my bottle calf had maggots for a week and we found a lot of REALLY GOOD cures for him. So, if anyone here has a horse or cow or calf with maggots I know a lot. We have cream that helps get rid of bacteria, insects, and other stuff like that, iodine, blue paint stuff that you put on wounds or like if u band your calf into a steer you'll want to put some on so that it doesn't get infected, fly sprays, and that it!
