It's losing a lot of efficiency with the new Master Rule revision... Especially with Shaddolls being one of the biggest decks as they can definitely finish their turn without summoning any Link monsters.

Hey Winter Killz awesome video as always. I love the deck and I have a suggestion that's valid when you go first AND even more valid when going second. I'm talking about Tenyi Spirit Vishuda (also you have to add Monk of the Tenyi in the Extra deck but I think there's a bit of room for 1 card). You probably know what it does but let me point out it's been proving awesome in testing: gets you a free extra monster zone without burning your normal summon (so this + a S/T card = a column), amazing going second effect in the GY for quick and expendable removal (granted it's targeting but it's non destroying and can also deal with face-down cards including S/T cards), and when people forget you have it in grave, you can use it even after getting rid of the Monk by normal summoning Avram which enables Vishuda's effect to be activated in the GY.

Hey bro. Once the Orcust Mekk knight comes out.. the field spell can cause turn one no hand and extra deck for your opponent. It’s bonkers !

Ipiria is just better. Capshell requires you to have almiraj to get the draw which late game is sub optimal

I still think the Invoked variant is better, just because I do believe that the pure Mekk Knight variant depends way too much on the opponent. Alot of times with Pure Mekk Knights, if ur opponent just passes with nothing on field, u may just habe to pass as well. Also Pure Mekk Knights can't OTK as well as Mekk Knights Invoked in my opinion. Just a personal preference, anybody who disagrees, lemme know ur reasoning as to why.

Pure MK OTKs just as easily as MK Invoked considering it can spam multiple 2000+ ATK bodies on the board and goes into Borrelsword easily, and it's less susceptible to hand traps. If the opponent Ashes your Aleister, your turn is basically over. Taking out the Invoked engine lets you play way more going second cards that can just outright end the game, and MK can still go first with a consistent combo to open Secrets if you open any normal summon.

I've played both for a while. Invoked is more explosive, higher risk for higher reward. Pure is ironically more consistent IMO, mainly because it's easier to bait out interaction against your opponent. Purple/Blue is always ash/imperm bait before I link it off to morning star or worst case just punch over with multiple beaters in pure due to the higher mekk count. However if they hit your aleister, your turn ends unless you have another extender that wont leave aleister or almiraj just sitting. If you're able to resolve aleister, you can usually otk or end with mechaba

My issue with Pure Mekk Knight honestly is that, it is terrible at going first, I've never been impressed with it, and I mean that's why you see more Invoked Mekk Knight decks than Pure builds, whoever denies that clearly doesn't know what's popular. On top of that, if your opponent knows you're playing Mekk Knights, they may just pass without playing anything (another reason why Salads and Orcust usually beat Mekk Knights, cus of their high hand trap count), and unless the player has like an Iblee or the gecko, they usually have to pass as well. Whereas with Mekk Knights Invoked, you pass on them without playing a thing, there's a high chance you may get punished for that, because they can go off more. And yeah, Mekk Knights Invoked does brick alot more, I mean three Invocation, three Magical Meltdowns and three Aleister The Invoker will do that to you, nothing feels worse than drawing a dang Invocation and no Invoker... So yeah, Mekk Knights are definitely more consistent. Consistency isn't always that great, I mean lookit Fluffals, that deck is insanely consistent, but it's still lackluster, bad? No, but it's not very competitive. One of those reasons also has to do with the board Pure Mekks build. Like most of the time, their first turn board is pathetic, like two to three monsters negates that have to resolve on the field, whereas Invoked has more options. The only thing I would say about Pure Mekks is that they break boards slightly better than Invoked, and that's just cus if you negate the Aleister, it's pretty much a pass from there... So while Mekk Knights Invoked is a bit more of a glass cannon, I still gotta say it's still superior to the Pure Mekk Knight build. However, that may change once Mekk Knight Orcust Girsu comes out, being able to get out the Union Carrier is huge for them, but not having those Omni negates available, that still leaves the deck pretty wide open, especially against other rogue decks.

Invoked is fun, but have you tried Mekk Invoked Shadolls? I swear my extradeck space has never been so tight
