The huge difference between max again Clem and Max against Serral is crazy. He's so confident against Clem and never doubting himself (even when loosing) it's scary! Those 3 are really 1 step further than the rest into the sc2 matrix =)

That game 2 is the maxpax I love. Zealot warp prism in your main, zealots stopping your third, zealots knee-deep in your natural. All while an army of stalkers chase your army around.

Woah. This might be the first time in history when the best Terran, the best Zerg and the best Protoss are all European. Of course, it's always a debate whether to put Clem against Maru, Serral against Dark or MaxPax against Hero. But damn, I'm really happy to see such a brutally high level coming from Europe.

29:17 That disrupter shot came out of nowhere. Clem busts through the rocks and jumps on MaxPax, but the single disrupter read his movement like a book and landed perfectly. Those are the shots you live for as a Protoss player. I don't think Clem had scouted the disrupter or seen it at all right up until that moment either. So satisfying.

"look" they give one of if not the highest dps unit in the game unparalleled mobility. Terran has like 4 or 5 units that are disgustingly overbudget power-wise and it's been that way for almost a decade.

@@eldendeez6868 99 % of players' only multiplayer experience is the ladder. If ladder is 100 % Protoss, then Protoss is a problem. If Protoss isn't winning tournaments, then the low pro player count means you can realistically chalk it up to player skill.

At the end of game three you could tell Maxpax smelled blood. He basically stopped macroing (I believe the colossus after the warp prism was queued) and focused entirely on unit control.

I think the size of the maps is making the game look a bit more like broodwar there is always opportunity everywhere, i think these maps are making for better balance / matches, slowing down the max out game but still have lots of action, i think it shows not only do the changes matter, but the design of the maps heavily affect the game play.

No, that last game is very over. Maxpax saw there is no 2nd base, he'll stop stim easily and then can overcharge-produce probes like there's no tomorrow while clem doesn't even have a factory. Maxpax does not know about the missing factory, but clem does know. No chance there, especially with none of his units surviving there.

you can basically manually shift click workers while mining so their acceleration doesn‘t decrease while mining. you can also hold the hotkey for mining, at least winter said so in the last video, however, i havent tried the second technic yet.

Man that disrupter hit in game 2. I would probably just forfeit the entire series after that just completely defeated, it was really down to the smallest millisecond from the disrupter nova before it was killed. That being said maxpax has been stepping up from being a one-trick blink stalker player (albeit the best in the world) to at least having some more options
